Carlton is a Chicago, IL based artist who found his foothold in the vaporwave scene around 2016.
His debut and only EP, "Carlton" was originally released in 2016. It is a bite-sized, nostalgic, funk-fueled reminder of the times we had growing up watching Fresh Prince on Nick@Nite. This EP envelopes that classic West Coast feel in such a way that feels familiar, but also adds its own unique flair with extremely well organized remixing.
This EP has been remastered and remixed by the artist himself, which makes this version of the EP the definitive one to own.

I liked Desired's self-titled release very much, so had to get "Lovestory" as well, its style feels the closest. Desired must be a fan of the 80ies "Cat's Eye" anime, as tracks 1 and 8 are from its soundtrack.
